How it Works

  1. Book your Telehealth Visit by calling 619-985-7153. *Please note your credit card information will be collected at time of booking to secure your appointment but WILL NOT be charged until after your visit.
  2. Complete your one page services agreement form. I am licensed and insured through the Professional Wellness Alliance (PWA) in order to provide the services I do.  The paper copy of the form is kept with me and your name and email address is filed with the PWA.  This form will be emailed to you as soon as you book your appointment. Please take the time to complete this in its entirety prior to your appointment so we can dive right in.
  3. You will receive a link to join in your appointment reminder email, and can join using either a laptop, a desktop computer, or a smartphone. You will not need to download any programs or create an account.
  4. Please arrive to your appointment a few minutes early and dressed comfortably. If you are attending an appointment with your infant, please have baby close by.
  5. I’ll meet you on the secure online platform for our private 1:1 appointment.
  6. Following your appointment, I will summarize the goals and wellness plan you agree on, assist you with booking your follow-up sessions, and send you your follow up instructions via email.

TO ENSURE YOU HAVE A GREAT APPOINTMENT PLEASE ENSURE THE FOLLOWING:

  • You have your camera set up in a location that allows you to move around and still be seen
  • You have clear audio – you may want to consider using earbuds for clearer sound (not necessary)
  • Have a private space free of distraction so you can focus on what you need
  • Make sure no one else in the house is streaming online, as this will slow down our connection. Check your internet connection at fast.com. You will need a result of 15Mbps or higher for best quality. (If the speed is slow, we can still do an audio-only appointment.)

What kind of care do you provide virtually?

Virtual appointments are a great way to receive one-on-one, step-by-step instruction and education on improved self-care. Manual touch therapy is a large part of improving wellness and various techniques such as Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Myofascial Release are shared.

Will my insurance cover virtual appointments?

Insurance rules are rapidly changing due to the Covid-19 crisis. I do not have a relationship with any insurance company, and am considered an out of network (OON) provider. If you have OON benefits, your insurance might reimburse part of your session costs, and I can provide you the appropriate paperwork to help with that.
